Welcome to the Art at Your Library June-July Show! This exhibit is entitled “Photography Through New Eyes” and features the work of five Dubuque-area photographers: Tom Kedzie, Christy Kirk, Vickie Klinkhammer, Andrew Sager, and Luke Stumpf.
About the Artists:
- Tom Kedzie manipulates photos taken on his cell phone to bring a sense of impact, drama, and color to his work.
- The photography of Christy Kirk is inspired by flower gardens, local landmarks, and local scenery.
- Vickie Klinkhammer uses her photos to create wearable art to bring forward the natural beauty of the earth.
- Andrew Sager is a film photographer who works with antique cameras and lenses. He takes a therapeutic approach to creating black and white photographs.
- Luke Stumpf uses his photography to reflect his interests and personality, primarily drawing from his love of mother nature.
The Art at Your Library June-July Show will exhibit through July 23 during regular library hours. Photos and art pieces on display are also available for purchase. If you would like to purchase an item, please ask the administration office or a staff member for assistance.
