The provincial museum in My Tho city was established in 1980 and sits in a French style building, housing around 20,000 artefacts about the history of Tian Giang.

Of particular interest is their last reported collection of 343 artefacts dating to the Oc Eo period. Many of these artefacts were discovered during field surveys around the province, though a number of them originated from Go Thanh. A large portion of the above mentioned artefacts are made out of ceramic.

As part of Vietnamese Governments preservation of it's cultural history, a number of artefacts have been designated as a 'National Treasure'. The Tien Giang Museum houses a number of 'Oc Eo' artefacts with this special designation, and these include;

From the sixth set of 24 national treasures which was designated on 25 December 2017;

  1. #7 Vishnu statue of Go Thanh (1431CE)
