Our mission and commitment are to “Equip students for productive and holistic lives of Christian faith and service.” The Church of Uganda founded UCU in 1997, to be an authentic Christian university, one of its kind in Uganda at the time, where students would be nurtured to reach their full potential and completeness. The Church pioneered education at primary and high school level decades ago.
