There are lots of plot twists and some things leave you guessing but I felt it to be quite rewarding as you slowly start to put the pieces together yourself. for fans by ornehx on 2017-03-25 16:22 Great plot, with lots of twist and exciting revelations, with a few loose ends and lots of jumps and crazy pacing! Things are just crazy fast pace, lots of absurd retarded-like acting in the 1st half. Tbh, I was lost mostly & having a hard time understanding anything at all. Characters likes to talk super fast, plot jumps around and lots of incoherent acting from the characters. Things only start to make sense midway onwards where twist upon twist was revealed, and characters start to be coherent. And viola at the end it was a brilliant plot, but with few loose ends (which should a S2 when the VN has more material). Animation is weirdly stylish good. Overall, brilliant plot but you really have to bear with the crazy pacing, jumps and retarded acting. Stuck between For Fans and Recommended at 7/10 for fans by sammy321 on 2017-02-15 02:40 If you enjoy fast pace, non-chronological and shown from multiple points of view (as there is no 'main' character)... Occultic;Nine follows that formula. For those of the aforementioned elements. must see by DeadlyEmbrace on 2017-01-04 19:09 Fast paced (really, don't look away) with an interesting sciency story, cool characters and a slightly weid art stlye. Every member of the central main character group plays an important part in the show`s grander scheme; no single character is more important or prominent than the others. A show with 3 main characters is likely an ensemble cast, whereas 2 main characters is generally not an ensemble cast. weightless · storytellingno description set · · dialogue drivenA dialogue driven show has its story advanced by dialogue, with action being of much lower priority, and relies heavily on conversations between characters. weightless · · talking is a free actionTime in comics is flexible. Each panel shows a single event, which is usually accompanied by a length of dialog, which must take some time to say. This disparity is usually accepted if it isn`t taken to extremes. But often, characters will exposit when it`s most needed: at the story`s climax, when both the intricacies of the plot and the intensity of action hit their highest. weightless · · walls of text"Walls of text" refers to Japanese text (in huge letters) that appears in large quantities in the anime. weightless elementsNext to Themes setting the backdrop for the protagonists in anime, there are the more detailed plot Elements that centre on character interactions: "What do characters do to each other or what is done to them?". Is it violent Action, an awe-inspiring Adventure in a foreign place, the gripping life of a Detective, a slapstick Comedy, an Ecchi Harem anime, a SciFi epic, or some Fantasy travelling adventure? · angstA feeling of general discomfort and uneasiness is present due to either trivial or more serious reasons, often accompanied by depression. (Source: Wikipedia) weightless · speculative fictionSpeculative fiction is an umbrella genre encompassing fiction with certain elements that do not exist in the real world, often in the context of supernatural, futuristic or other imaginative themes. This includes, but is not limited to, science fiction, fantasy, superhero fiction, horror, utopian and dystopian fiction, fairytale fantasy, supernatural fiction, as well as combinations thereof. · · fantasyImaginative or fanciful work, especially one dealing with supernatural elements and themes. * · · · contemporary fantasyMagic and supernatural beings exist secretly in what is generally regarded as the real world. Such elements may have originated from another world. Stories where a modern-day character travels to an alternate fantasy world are not considered contemporary fantasy. * · · science fictionScience fiction stories usually focus on how situations could be different in the future when we are more technologically advanced; due to either our own achievements or having met with other civilizations whom we have learned from. + · · · human experimentationGenetic, biological, chemical or psychological experimentation on human beings are portrayed or their aftermath is shown. weightless · super powerBe it an ancient Greek Heracles, a cybernetic muscle-man, or a fourteen year-old girl in a mini-skirted sailor suit. Please do not add fetish tags to anime that do not pander to the fetish in question in any meaningful way. For example, there`s some ecchi in Shinseiki Evangelion, but the fact you get to see Asuka`s pantsu is not sufficient to warrant applying the school girl fetish tag. Most porn anime play out the fetish, making tag application fairly straightforward. · breastsThe female bust size matters! Or does it? The three subcategories spell out the sizes that relate to fetishes, be they gigantic, large or small. Normal sized breasts are not a fetish, it seems. The tag is not only used for ecchi anime, but also for hentai shows as well. · · gigantic breastsGigantic breasts are unnaturally large breasts, even by anime standards; they are true gargantuan monstrosities, either because of sheer size or through the combination of size and exceedingly unnatural shape. Essentially, breasts that take at least as much space as the rest of the chest or the abdomen, or that are almost as big but have an absurdly unnatural shape, are gigantic; smaller breasts are the more common huge breasts, even if they`re as big as the character`s head. * maintenance tagsThese tags are used for maintenance. · TO BE MOVED TO CHARACTERTags under this parent tag are going to be moved to character tags and removed from the anime they`re currently assigned to. To a certain extent it describes what you can expect from the world in the anime. · placeThe places the anime can take place in. Includes more specific places such as a country on Earth, as well as more general places such as a dystopia or a mirror world. · · EarthThe Earth is the third planet from the Sun. It is a ball of hot mud, but on the surface it`s cold enough, so most of us live on it (or are supposed to). To its inhabitants, our planet is their home, so, as a species, we cherish it to the point many cultures even to this day deify it. The Earth is the main setting of most fiction, but many titles are set in other places, such as unrelated fantasy worlds, and in a considerable number of fictional titles the Earth is actually destroyed by invaders. *** · · · AsiaAsia is Earth`s largest and most populous continent. The society may or may not attempt to conceal its existence itself. Examples of historical and existing secret societies include Freemasonry, the Knights Templar, the Rosicrucians, Skull and Bones, the Thule Society, and the Illuminati. weightless episode specific boobs in your faceThe character`s face is pressed into a female`s cleavage. This may be accidental or actually intended by the female character, or even a result of a device by the other character. This action is generally seen as sexually charged by the viewers and often also by the cast, so it will usually happen in an ecchi context; as such, something such as a mother hugging her child won`t generally count. 2 eps applies to episode(s): 1, 11 first kissThe first kiss plays a role in this anime. Especially for the female cast this can be quite an important moment, so that stealing ones first kiss is serious for them. 1 eps applies to episode(s): 12 flashbackA flashback is a moment where events from the past are recounted. Flashbacks are used primarily to give insight into a character`s mind or to reveal information previously kept from the audience. They normally consist of mostly new content; they are different from and should not be confused with recaps, where old content is shown again for no particular purpose. Generally, to qualify as a flashback, the scene must advance the narrative. The opposite is a flashforward. See also in medias res. 2 eps applies to episode(s): 3, 8 no opening segmentAn episode with no opening segment lacks an opening credits segment, commonly known as OP. This tag only applies to anime that ordinarily contain an OP; do not apply to anime that ordinarily do not have an OP. This means that, instead of an opening segment showing up, the main body of the episode plays while the credits show up on the screen, or there aren`t opening credits to begin with; whether or not the song plays in the OP is not relevant for this tag. The inverse case is no ending segment. 1 eps applies to episode(s): 12 post-credits sceneA little bit of the story is found after the credit titles. A little bonus for those patient enough! This applies regardless of if the credits play over an ED sequence, or over the "regular episode" that continues to air into the credits. A sequence at the end of an episode, showing what will happen in the next episode, is NOT a post-credits scene; that is a preview. 2 eps applies to episode(s): 6, 10 related Character Tags ? add/edit tags abilitiesAbilities are skills or competences that have applicability in some sort of activity. astral projection (2)Astral projection (or astral travel) is an interpretation of out-of-body experience (OBE) that assumes the existence of an "astral body" separate from the physical body and capable of traveling outside it.
