麻𫛚属（学名：Botaurus，中国大陆作麻𫛚属，香港作麻鳽属，台湾作大麻鹭属）是鹈形目鹭科的涉禽，其下有四个现生物种及一个化石物种。^[2]^[3]

命名历史[编辑]

本属由英国博物学家詹姆斯·法兰西斯·斯提芬斯（英语：James Francis Stephens）于1819年描述。^[4]其模式种由英国动物学家乔治·罗伯特·格雷于1840年指定为Ardea stellaris，即大麻𫛚。^[1]其属名Botaurus来自中世纪拉丁语的butaiirus或bootaurus，指的就是“麻𫛚”（即麻𫛚亚科）。^[5]
