Black-bellied Whistling Duck (Dendrocygna autumnalis fulgens) | 1:16 | Daniel Parker | 2024-03-05 | 18:25 | United States | Birdwalk, Myakka River State Park, Sarasota County, Florida | 0 | flight call | A flock flying in. Didn't sound terribly large, but quite vocal and seemed surprisingly evocative of dusk, considering it was my first encounter with the species.

Brant Goose (Branta bernicla hrota) | 0:55 | Daniel Parker | 2013-12-28 | 15:25 | United States | Floyd Bennett Field, Brooklyn, New York | ? | alarm call, call, flight call | The same flock of Brant Geese as in XC161414, but in a different location. First they are clucking, irritated by our presence. We unintentionally flush them and they take off with rapid wing beats. Then the recording is clipped because of loud jet noise just after the birds take off. The last section is the calls of the birds as they fly away.
