St. Patrick’s Track and Field team dominates at State Meet with the Girls winning the 3A State Championship and Boys securing Runner Up!

Tuesday was an amazing day on the track for the St. Patrick Catholic High School Track and Field Team! No luck was needed for the Irish, as they dominated the leader boards with pure talent and skill. The St. Patrick varsity track and field team traveled to Jackson Tuesday to compete in the MHSAA 3A State Championship, and the Fighting Irish continued to impress!

The 3A Girls Track and Field State Championship belongs to the ladies of St. Patrick!

Not only did they take home the coveted title, the girls relay team also broke the 4 by 400 school record! That relay team consists of Isabella Patino, Jayden Ware, Avery Stolarski, and Bella Jordan.

The girls weren’t the only successful team in green and gold, as the Boys team was named runner up at the meet! The boys relay team also broke a school record for the 4 by 800 meter. That relay team consists of Luke Meyers, Joseph Ross, Jack Hewes, and Andrew Williams.

The following St. Patrick student athletes received Individual State Championship honors as well:

Bella Jordan – 800 meter run

Jaden Ware – 1,600 meter run
