MGCCC Head Men’s Golf Coach Brad Thornton named Dave Williams Coach of the Year

The athletic program at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College just continues to prove their dominance on the links and on the field, and we have some exciting news to share for our friends up the road.

Men’s Head Golf Coach Brad Thornton has been named the Dave Williams Coach of the Year presented by Golf Pride Grips!

The George County native is taking this honor just two weeks after his Bulldogs clinched the NJCAA Division II Men’s Golf Championship in Joplin, Missori.

Thornton is Gulf Coast’s second winner of this award. The first one presented to Tommy Snell in both 2008 and 2018.
