One year later, the site of the church is an empty lot, but church members and leaders are looking ahead to the future with hope.
First Missionary is sharing facilities with First Baptist Church down the road, as plans to rebuild on the church’s original site continue.
Pastor Kevin Henry says there is a lot to be thankful for as the rebuilding process moves forward.
In the weeks to come, First Missionary church leaders will finalize plans for the new church building and will celebrate with the community with a groundbreaking ceremony.
