I've been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for the past 14 years and love what I do. I approach all my clients with empathy and compassion whatever reason they are seeking therapy. I have been trained specifically to work with couples, relationships, and individuals suffering from addiction, substance abuse, anxiety, depression, Bipolar, PTSD, infidelity, and grief. I want my clients to achieve results including greater independence, symptom reduction, and general quality of life. My approach to therapy is eclectic and depending what are your core issues you bring in.
I assess what approaches can yield optimal results while maintaining your motivation to grow and change. I start with person-centered and positive psychology allowing opportunity for processing in a safe judgment-free space. With my individual clients, I tend to use CBT, Behavior Therapy, Humanistic Therapy as well as solution-focused therapy.
I help to set up short-term goals while we are building bridges to the long-term goals. I do not define or prescribe your goals and do not want to tell anyone what to do. Together we carefully come up with reasonable and achievable goals together and work as a team on them weekly.
