I have been assisting individuals, couples, groups and families navigate the difficulties that accompany Substance Abuse/Dependence, Dual-Diagnosis, Narcissistic Abuse Survivor Recovery and relationship difficulties for over 20 years. My experience supporting and guiding clients through theses life experiences has taught me that what we can usually expect to find beneath these presenting behaviors can be a mix of anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, betrayal, trauma and stress. This is what creates unmanageability. Together we will design healthy coping skills and boundaries in order to create awareness and restore manageability.
My passion lies in assisting clients develop awareness into sources and repetition of problematic behaviors and negative thought patterns that keep us in unmanageability. Once we develop awareness of these patterns we can begin to make changes-healthier choices, begin to set boundaries and choose to respond versus react in difficult situations.
My treatment philosophy centers around creating a trusting, supportive relationship with my clients, we work together through the Healing Journey. We will identify and examine the patterns that contribute to repeating old behaviors that keep people stuck and unable to seeand make different choices. I believe we can't change until we have awareness.
