Beautiful owl

Jyo John Mulloor is back on Bored Panda with a bunch of new images featuring adorable little versions of wild animals. These cuties are so small, they could fit right in the palm of your hand. The project, titled “Macro World”, has already won over many people, and its first part was also featured on Bored Panda.

I made portraits of birds of prey. In the eyes of those who don't sleep, you can see their personality.

Barn Owl Tyto alba perched in a tree, this (wild) bird was just 13 metres away from me and Julie for nearly an hour! I had taken Julie on a photo tuition/Owl safari day, she had only ever had fleeting views of Barn Owls twice before, we saw at least 9 different individual Barn Owls, 3 of them giving us very close prolonged views, It was a real buzz to show someone these birds at such close range. We have taken animals and nature for granted. We are so fixed in our 9 to 5 desk jobs living a robotic life that we have forgotten how breathtaking nature actually is. When you finally look into the details of some things, it will start to seem unreal. Well, even if we can’t go out in the wild to appreciate nature at it’s finest, we can still count on photography. A picture speaks a thousand words, and you can really get lost in some photos if you look deep enough.
