A 21-year-old man was shot to death in the parking lot of the Indian Hill Mall Indoor Swap Meet in Pomona on Friday, June 7, the Pomona Police Department said.
The man was found in the northeast corner of the lot, Lt. Jaime Martinez, a police spokesman, said Saturday. No arrests have been announced.
Shots were reported fired around 5:25 p.m. Friday in the 1600 block of E. Holt Avenue. Officers found the man suffering from gunshot wounds. He was taken to a hospital, where he died, according to a police news release issued Saturday.
Detectives are attempting to learn a motive. The name of the victim was not immediately announced.
