A lovely novel filled with the richness of 4 generations of life for the Quinlan family living mostly in Australia.
Lola is the most wonderful and optimistic matriarch of the family, and knows just what to do in any situation. She manages to bring her grand-daughters back together after a battle royale 3 years earlier.

And not a moment too soon. Anna, Bett and Carrie miss and need each other desperately. It takes producing a crazy musical and a norrific loss to get this family back in top shape.

Good read.

2.5 stars. Slow moving, too long, soap opera of a book.
