Margaret's post lovingly continued: 'Always ready to kiss, cuddle, play and brighten up your darkest day.

'She loved everyone (except for landscapers) and everyone loved her.

'A piece of me died along with her. She was a rescue, but in reality, she saved us.'

The TV personality had previously described Bella as her 'favorite family member' and would regularly share updates on their life together.

She had previously voiced concern over the pup's health, stating: 'If you know anything about me, I'm always nervous that she's not feeling well because she's had hip and joint issues forever.

'Yorkies are very prone to it.

'And she's 12 and she's a rescue, so I've always had a challenge.'

And dozens of Margaret's fans flooded to the comment section to offer their condolences.

Another added: 'I'm so sorry. Sending gigantic hugs. She was such a sweet baby.'

Someone else commented: 'We are so sorry to hear about the loss of your beloved Bella.

'Pets are truly family and losing them is incredibly hard. May you all find comfort in the wonderful memories you shared together.'

And a fourth person shared: 'The unconditional love they bring into our lives is indescribable and that feeling is euphoric. So when we lose our pet, the pain can be even more overwhelming.

'But just know that she isn't gone. Her memory is a blessing. That will help you during times when you need to feel that euphoria of unconditional love.'

The pet's death has arrived as a devastating blow for the star who, just earlier this week, also told TV personality Rachel Fuda about her husband Joe Benigno's recent visit to the doctor.

During episode eight of the latest season of the show, which aired on June 23, Margaret revealed that she and her spouse, who celebrated their 11th wedding anniversary this month, are waiting for tests to come back.

She shared: 'I'm so frazzled because Joe had routine blood work, and we just got a call from the doctor, and they said, 'Joe, your PSA [Prostate-Specific Antigen] jumped high.

'I freaked out because men his age can have prostate cancer really easily.

'We ran right to the urologist. They gave him all the tests.

'He had to be probed. We're going to get the results this week.'
