Boulder Concert Band Memorial weekend concert: 10 a.m. Sunday, North Boulder Park, Ninth Street and Dellwood Avenue, Boulder. The Boulder Concert Band provides the community with outstanding performances of traditional and modern concert literature and enriches the cultural experience of both audience and musicians. The Boulder Concert Band also provides a community organization for adults who wish to continue to play their instruments after completing high school or college. This concert opens its season. Coffee & Classics: 8 a.m. Sunday, Downtown Boulder, 1325 Pearl St., Boulder. Since 2010, Fuelfed Coffee & Classics has set the standard of what a focused enthusiast gathering should be. Not only the cars and unique locations, but the quality people it attracts. Fuelfed Coffee & Classics is a focused gathering for classic European car enthusiasts to share their passion, not a juried car show. This event is not about leased Italian super-cars, but rather about driving European classics as they was meant to be driven. From Aston to Zagato, Alfa to VW, it doesn’t matter, just drive it. Boulder Cycling Club & ModBoulder Sunday morning rides: 9 a.m. Sunday, Foothills Community Park, 800 Cherry Ave., Boulder. Discover new routes and new friends on a spirited Sunday morning ride that places fun over competition. Plus, everyone gets a free post-ride coffee courtesy of ModBoulder. Boulder B-Sides at BOCO Cider: 4 p.m. Sunday, BOCO Cider, 1501 Lee Hill Drive, Unit 14, Boulder. The Boulder B-Sides are long-time friends and music lovers who all live in Boulder. With instrumentation of mandolin, acoustic guitar and electric bass, the group plays an eclectic mix of covers, from Django Reinhardt to Red Hot Chili Peppers, with some originals thrown in. BOLDER Boulder 10K: 5:30 a.m. Monday, Start Line just north of Walnut on 30th, Boulder. Join the BOLDERBoulder this and every Memorial Day. Named “America’s All-Time Best 10K” by Runner’s World and founded in 1979, the course is over a mile above sea level, winds through Boulder’s neighborhoods, downtown and then finishes at the University of Colorado’s Folsom Field. The course is packed full of energy with dancers, music and entertainment around every corner. Luau Party: 7:30 a.m. Monday, Performance & Recovery Labs, 2595 Canyon Blvd., Suite 150, Boulder. Join the second annual PR Labs Luau Party on the Bolder Boulder run course. There will be Hawaiian leis, ice pools and lots of energy. Bring something to snack on and drink, sunscreen and a chair to cheer on the thousands of runners who will be out on course. American Legion Memorial Day picnic: 2 p.m. Monday, American Legion Post #10, 4760 28th St., Boulder. To honor Memorial Day, Boulder Post No. 10, American Legion will be hosting a program and a picnic at the Legion. The program will begin at 1 p.m. Following the program, there will be a wreath laying ceremony. All Post 10 Member organizations, veterans and their families and guests are invited to attend. The Post will be providing the main course for the picnic, and attendees can bring a side dish or dessert to share. Refreshments will be available to purchase in the lounge.
