Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo (Mexican-USA history, 1848)

Note: Treaty signed in Guadalupe Hidalgo ending the Mexican-U.S. War (1846-1848). The border between the two countries was established at Rio Grande, and the U.S. annexed land that would become Arizona, California, western Colorado, Nevada, Texas, and Utah.
