LISTEN NOW: Nelly shares details around forthcoming Country collab album

Nearly two years after releasing his Country collaboration album, Heartland, the “Hot In Here” singer is teasing part 2 is on the way. “Heartland 1 [featured] all male [collaborators], that was on purpose,” Nelly told Audacy’s Rob + Holly during an interview at Stagecoach. “Heartland 2, the project that I’m working on now, that’s the women of Country music. That’ll be all my collaborations with women of Country music.”

While the Hip-Hop star is remaining tight-lipped about which women will be featured on the project, we know we can set our expectations high based off the first project which featured collabs with Country giants like Kane Brown, Darius Rucker, Florida Georgia Line, Breland, Tyler Hubbard and more.

“I’m thanking Country for allowing Nelly to come to the picnic, as we say in Hip-Hop,” he laughed, while expressing his gratitude to the fans and artists of Country music for welcoming him with open arms.

Nelly promises further details surrounding Heartland 2 will be available in the coming months.
