Had a Fitbit smartwatch previously and "downgraded" to the fitness tracker. It's a lot cheaper at about a third of the watch's price, but the tiny screen is a hard read for my aged eyes. Otherwise... love it. The fitness tracker fits my needs, which is mainly on tracking my health so it's still good value considering I had not used the other functionalities of the smartwatch.

Terrible. The surface of the pressure is coarse so the flour sticks to it. It hardly flattens the dough either, have to press hard and multiple times to get it to flatten. Real waste of money.

Worth the price. Some issues with syncing data

I love how light weight & basic it is. Value for money. Tracks steps, calories, sleep - everything that I need from a fitness tracker. Battery backup is awesome as I only need to charge it 1x a week. I never take it off my wrist otherwise

Can sync with phone to get notifications but that’s not very reliable. The syncing of data can be choppy - sometimes it just doesnt. But then it starts again.

Overall I’m happy with the purchase

A big disappoinment and misleading

The Fitbit Inspire 3 has been a big disappoinment and is quite misleading. I anticipated the most expensive "top-tier" fitness tracker, especially since it's made by Google. However, its quality falls far below that of other fitness bands. It really shocked me. I thought I received a defective product. I was looking to upgrade from my Garmin Vivosmart 4, assuming that since the Inspire 3 was released in September 2022, it would surpass the Vivosmart 4, which came out in September 2018, 4 years difference. Unfortunately, this wasn't the case. Here's why:

1. The display is disappointingly small. Despite claims about the "screen area," the actual display is only about 50% of what you'd expect. See the attached photo. Initially, I thought it was a defective screen, as I've never encountered a display with such limited visibility. It's even smaller than the Vivosmart 4's display.

2. Navigation is cumbersome due to the tiny display and smooth scrolling. Unlike the Vivosmart, which displays information per page when swiped, the Inspire 3's smooth scrolling makes it difficult to navigate.

3. The SpO2 feature only functions during sleep at night; on Vivosmart, I can measure my SpO2 anytime when I need it.

4. There's no Vo2Max feature, and the skin temperature monitoring only operates at night.

5. The $10 monthly subscription fee may explain why the app feels basic in functionality.

6. This band requires constant wear for many of its features to work properly. If you don't wear it 24/7, you'll miss out on many readings.

Considering its limitations, this band shouldn't cost more than $50. You can find far better products with more features with 1/3 of the price, such as the Mi Band or Huawei bands. I like vivosmart 4 or fitibit inspire 3 form factor because sometimes I still wear my classic watch.

Very Bad Battery life

Very Bad Battery life. After purchasing before 8 months one day battery suddenly down in 8 hours. What the hack. I have contacted customer care of Fitbit Google Company and they have given me my complaint number. Next? Nothing. Literary Nothing. Whenever I contact them they tell me wait for some days our expert will contact you. But their expert never contacted. This is the case. My Inspire 3 battery life still hurt me.

Disappointing Replacement Policies

Got this for my mom and it worked great for the first month and a half to two months, then the screen stopped working. It was just outside the return policy for Amazon, but I was directed to Fitbit for their warranty services.
I received conflicting information from the service representative-- I was told (when I asked) that I did not have to return the defective unit and they would simply send a new one. As soon as I disconnected the chat, we received an email that yes, in fact, return the old unit. Okay, standard practice. We sent it back.
The unit we eventually received came in an envelope with no accessories, and was a refurbished unit that refused to connect to her iPad. Contacted Fitbit again, went through all their troubleshooting, nothing worked. Deeply disappointed at this point, I requested that they not send a refurbished unit again-- unfair exchange aside (paying for a new unit and getting sent replacements that have been refurbished) the debacle we went through with the one we were sent was not something we wanted to do again. They obviously couldn't guarantee such a thing.
And naturally, we were sent another refurbished one. I have yet to try setting it up.

Honestly, this was not the experience I had expected to receive from a company like Fitbit. The original unit was in use for less than three months from the time she got it at Christmas, it glitched out through no fault of her own, and the company sent refurbished replacements. Just disappointed.

Too sensitive or faulty

I bought this tracker for the sole purpose of counting my steps accurately. But as I wore it for 2 days almost, I noticed that when I m washing my hand or wear my underpant Or Jean my steps were increasing by 20-30.
I haven't bought a fitness tracker or watch before so I can't compare it.
P. S. Didn't expect it to be so inacurate indoing what it was actually made to do.

I purchased what was supposed to be a brand new Fitbit Inspire 3 from Amazon and promptly received it the next day. The product comes in a two-layer cardboard box (the Fitbit packaging, not the Amazon box). The outer sleeve was intact, but the inner box was ripped. This should have been my first clue. Upon continuing to unpack the product, I see that the charging cable was bent (folded) at the point where it connects to the charging head - my first thought was that this seems like poor manufacturing/packaging planning, as that is already a weak point in any charger and would mean the charging cable is weakened from the outset. However, thinking that if the manufacturer packaged it this way it must be fine, maybe their cables are more flexible now and are okay to be packaged this way, and continued to unpack. Then I see that the rubber-like material of the wrist straps are covered in what looks like a white dust/crumbs/particles of some kind, and grey/white hairs. I don't know whether these are pet hairs or from a person, but either way this was completely unacceptable. Not only did I pay for a product that was supposed to be brand new, but it was sold in a completely disgusting, unsanitary condition. Further, as this is an electronic product, there is no way to know whether the previous customer had used/kept it in appropriate condition, whether it is even in proper working order, etc. Amazon customer service was apologetic and offered to send a replacement or refund once I sent this one back, but I do not trust that a replacement will be brand new/unopened. I will be buying directly from the manufacturer once I receive my refund.

Battery issue / not happy

Sent back for refund, battery issues abound then not syncing with app on phone.
I’m updating my review because the battery is now needing to be charged 2-3 x a week! At first it went 10 days, then down to 7 now only a few days between charge.
I may send it back because obviously it should still be optimal being less than a month of use!

I ordered this to help me keep track of steps per day and heart rate. It also monitors your sleep and gives you a readiness score so you can decide how active you should be that day.
I’m regaining strength after being immobile for 5 months due to illness and it helps me know how far I’ve walked etc. I just wish it could count the activity on my sit down elliptical . I just add what my elliptical says to the steps recorded by my Fitbit. I like that it monitors hear rate so I don’t over do it while I’m recovering.

This device operated as advertised at first but then the glitches started. Now it won't sync with restarting the device. It said I had until July 1 2024 for return or replacement. I contacted them well before that date and they wouldn't take it back unless I agreed to a $30 fee. This is not actually Amazon by Sold by: Amazon.com.ca ULC. Nowhere does it state that on the advertisement before you purchase the item. Deceptive advertising.

This product is advertised as being able to measure metrics like HRV, and SpO2. What it fails to mention is that those metrics are only available as an overnight reading.

I purchased this to help with a chronic illness and needed to be able to see my current HRV, knowing what my HRV was while I was sleeping is useless to me. The mobile app is also terrible and lack basic settings to customize your use of the watch. For instance it's not even possible to full disable the 'Get up and move' alerts. Which are really insulting when you're living with a disability that limits your energy and mobility.

The title says it all.
I bought it thinking that a quality product would last me for years, but it has started to malfunction in only a few weeks. The screen flickers for no reason, and battery lasts for 3-4 days at most.
I've since stopped using it and written off the expense as a lesson learnt.
