3 years ago or so the average home price there was $300,000. Now it is $100,000. While the real estate "back to reality" bust has made values fall, I do not know of anyplace outside of Detroit that has fallen like Moapa Valley has! Why??

Even the Moapa Valley MLS (http://www.listingpreview.com/13.html - broken link) is presently "unavailable" . . some listings in the Mesquite MLS. MV Progress classifieds.

Comeon guys. Moapa is Moapa. They don't do in things like housing bubbles.

The last half of 2008 had a median of 205K. The first half of 2009 was at $200K.

The average was not so good...234K versun 192. A lot of that though was that the big places are not selling.

But Moapa ain't hurting relatively to the rest of Clark County.
