Hello all. I am going to be living in River West essentially right on the Milwaukee River. I am considering riding my bike along the Oak Leaf trail to commute when the weather is nice. The thing is, I work near 35th and Villard, and would be biking around 4:30AM and 1:30PM. I would have a few blocks off of the trail out in the open. Do I have any reason to be concerned? Area Vibes has that neighborhood in the red zone.

4:30am and 1:30 pm are safe times one is too early and other hungry. Plus you're riding in a trail/park most of the time and rest on a busy street, cars are a bigger concern. Dress like a biker with no money and you should be good.
