Absinthe is great, one of my favorites, I highly recommend it. Opium is also great, by the creators of Absinthe. Mystere is one of my favorites if not my favorite Cirque but Ka is also great. I’m not a Beatles fan, so I haven’t seen Love.

I agree with you though, Blue Man Group absolutely sucks. I don’t know who that appeals to but I’m guessing very simple minded and children. It’s not funny at all.

I looked into going to this once. Love the CD album. While the original songs are outstanding - they did a fine job on all of these versions.

I just saw Beatles Love on my last visit in August. I actually thought it wasn't that
good but my husband loved it. I see Cirque for the acrobatics and tricks. It was too much
plain dancing for me and the story was lacking. I'd rank Michael Jackson One, Ka, and
O (in that order) way above Beatles.

I do like a lot of the shows at Planet Hollywood : Popovich Pet Theater, V Ultimate
Variety Show...I think I also saw a Legends in Concert or impersonators show there
that was decent.

Atomic Saloon at the Venetian is fantastic. It's produced by the same people who do Absinthe and Opium. Very small theater and it's sort of interactive. I won't give it away. Just go. Trust me.

O, Ka, Love and Mystere are all good too.

If you're just interested in the music and don't want to pay a fortune for a show, see Beatleshow at Planet Hollywood. Great period costumes, and the performance is spot on.

A couple of people have mentioned Ka. I have seen it, and I didn't care for it. I left being very glad that I got my tickets for half price.

Raiding the Rock Vault if you like classic rock, Carrot Top if your looking for comedy, are my 2 favorites.

I love the Australian BeeGees at Excalibur. They do a great job and the theater is small so
all the views are fine. I also always get free tickets from MyVegas on facebook so win/win.
They open a small dance floor for the second part of their show.

For me possible choices are MJ live, Circus De Soleil or some magic performance, or laser like show if there is any.
Few years back, I watcehd blue man group (not in vegas but in austin), it sucked, did not like it.
For me, it would be Frankie Moreno, not to be confused with Frank Morino. Frankie performs at different venues throughout Las Vegas. His show is high energy and I swear he could raise the dead with his performance. Some liken him to Sinatra, Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis, but the fact is he is Frankie and does his own stuff and is not an impersonator. You will see people at his shows from 20s to 80s. If family or friends were coming to town I would book his show. Matt Goss is also a great show.

Have been to just about every show and FOR ME Absinthe is the best. However, it's not for the faint of heart. If you are offended by swearing and non-PC talk don't go because you will be offended.

Also just about every Cirque show is good. I most enjoyed Love and Michael Jackson but I like their music.

Was not impressed with David Copperfield or Penn and Teller but really liked Mat Franco.

Did not like Blue Man or Carrot Top.

Also, love the piano bar at New York New York.

My relatives are friends with one of the guys who does dueling pianos at NYNY but I don’t think it would be my style. They love it but I’ve had too many times I was open minded to something music related and ended up being bored to tears. Music for me is a background thing, I can’t be entertained just sitting and doing nothing but listening. I need visuals.
