I agree that it's too far, I'll be watching from charleston/hollywood, or somewhere close to that. My son doesn't like the loud booms from fireworks so we'll watch from near our house.

Yeah, we have a bunch of friends playing out tonight at different venues on the strip. Feel bad not supporting the local music scene, but I look at pictures from previous years and I just can't imagine being comfortable around throngs of craziness.

We are either going to sit home and order Chinese food (if I can find a good delivery place in GV) or head over to GVR early and get a spot on the rooftop of the garage and watch from there.

I haven't tried it, but I bet the view from the top of Rio's parking garage would be pretty good.

It's too far from my house, the view is not as good. I have been to the parking lot of that place before. One of my friends does go to that place.
However, photographing some fireworks between those pillars would be interesting.

My nephews and I went to Flamingo/Interstate 15 bridge, great view of the fireworks from the Stratosphere to Aria, not many people considering it is near the Strip.
