I am deeply ashamed to admit this, but I am seeking some professional help mentally speaking

Im not sure if I need a Psychiatrist, a Psychologist, or just general counseling but I need some thing. I still dont have health insurance so I cant afford a regular shrink at $175 an hour

Does anybody know of any free professional help in this town? In Orlando we had local "Neighborhood Center for Families" that offered these services scattered around the city

Is there anything like that out here? I made a promise to somebody very important that I would seek counseling and I intend to keep it

Don't be ashamed. I need it too but will not make the effort. Try here and see what they can do for you:

Contact UNLV. I know they run a counseling service where interns do a lot of the counseling. I'm not sure if they are open to the public but you should call as I know they don't charge as much. Good luck!

I'm too new to have any resources but wanted to add another voice that there is no shame in seeking professional help. Best of luck.

I found this from last year. Worth giving a call and seeing if they still offer free services. Best of luck Davie.

Don't be ashamed. Everyone can use someone neutral to talk to here and then.

Try Catholic Charities, also.

PS...I've had tons of therapy...but I usually end up driving the therapist crazy.
