I so cheered when Maloof opened up Palms, giving me hope of someone weakening the oligarchic rule on the Strip, but no such luck. Depressing news, to say the least!

We ditched Harrahs when they restructured their rewards program. We have been staying and gambling for many years now with the MGM Grand group and have never given our business to a Harrahs property again.

Hotness..... I was a diamond card holder at Harrahs when this happened so I did spend quite a lot of money. Back than you needed 10,000reward credits to qualify. So I'm thinking at least $50,000 through the machines. Maybe $100,000. Of course I didn't lose that much. I did have some jackpots $2500 being the most. A few $1600. I will say I did use a lot of nights. I would get so many offers between Rio and Harrahs. I did lose over $7,000 in one trip at the Rio. So with all that previous play, Harrahs really had chutzpah do that to a good customer.

I asked to talk to my casino host. In return they were checking with Metro to see if I had anything outstanding. That was my first arrest ever. Bottom line I should have taking care of it. But since I wasn't driving I thought I would be in the clear. Harrahs never ticketed me for anything. But I guess they figured that was a way to get me out of there.
