I've used them too. Couldn't remember the name. I don't remember major any problems with them.

We've used Graebel and Allied for full service moves. They were both good.

I've also used a POD type container (local company) and this time we are going with ABF using their Relo-Cubes. We are moving from MN to NV and the Relo-cubes are less than half the cost of a full-service move.

I'm not interested in driving a rental truck, so that wasn't an option for us.

I read good things about the Relo cubes. For me, I don't know how big of one I will need. If I remember correctly, they didn't have a variety of sizes, do they? Do you have a lot to move?

Yes, we're moving a large home and are getting four Relo-cubes. I hope it's enough! LOL They are getting delivered tomorrow. They are all one size. You just order however many you need based on your size home.

Do a bit of web research regarding U-Haul. You should find, among other things,

Driving with Rented Risk: http://www.latimes.com/la-na-haul24jun24,0,2086230.htmlstory

Upkeep Lags in U-Hual's Aging Fleet: http://www.latimes.com/la-na-haul25jun25,0,2544984.htmlstory

Key Trial Evidence Goes Missing: http://www.latimes.com/la-na-haul26jun26,0,3003738.htmlstory

Personally, I've had great experiences with Budget truck rental. Go to the Post Office & get a "change of address kit"; inside there is usually a good coupon for budget truck rental.

Amber, we have our move from Madison, WI to Las Vegas scheduled for this August through Coakley Bros (run by Allied) in Milwaukee. We did a lot of research on what would work best for us and we found the website movingscam.com to be helpful in terms of reviews and suggestions.

a AFB moving pod from NY -- NV is $3,564
the size of the relo-cube is: Approximately 6’3"D x 7’W x 8’4"H

I estimate you can load about 2500-3000 lbs of 'stuff' in one
so its $1.25 a lb (estimate)

ONE? geesh. I paid 2.5K to have my things moved a couple years ago by a moving co. and they did everything! Might have to go that route again. Should have bought their stock.
