With this I can concur. We hear bits of this most any election. However, both losers and winners engage in this - each side wanting to be the winner.

He may be a brilliant business man, but I just don't consider him very "presidential." That office should mean more than lambasting everyone who might get in your way. Megyn Kelly did not deserve his odious insinuations.
I am not a registered Republican but I have never voted for a democrat. Would vote for Zell Miller now (even tho I didn't when he ran for governor), that's the kind of democrat I like, lol.

Your sentiments mirror mine. Had to overcome the Mexican statements from the get go. We need immigration reform for sure, so let his less than gracious choice of words slide. Let his words against Ms. Kelly slide even tho they were unfortunate. Let the slam against Fiorina slide (the best spoken of all the R candidates in my book, but everyone dismisses her because of the HP record). Let a couple more slide. But I have found I have slidden off with them.

Here are things I liked:

Business leader on a national scale but not a career politician. Many love that about him.

His wealth makes him able to campaign and not be beholden to special interests. Many love that about him.

His ability to put political correctness on its ear. Watching the media think they have toppled him time and time again because of not saying something the way a national leader is supposed to say it is refreshing. People love him for that.

All things I would say would be a nice change in the political climate in this country.

However, the Muslim comment was the one that jumped the shark for me. As an unabashed evangelical, I do not have any affinity for the Koran or the theology Islam espouses. But, I hold our first amendment rights dear and if I do not give them to others of different faiths, it will come back and bite me in the posterior.

That said, if he is the nominee, I will hold my nose and cast a ballot for him. I will vote for any of the "clowns" that have been on the debate circuit over the "intellectual" left any day of the week.

Heck, Saintmarks, I just wish that Joe Biden had decided to run. Or, even Mitt Romney for that matter. Or, even, well, my puppy dog...
