Which cities do people seem to care the most about the city's pro sports teams? Which cities are people most likely to make small talk about how the teams are doing, draft picks, trade talks, etc.? In which cities are people most interested in how their sports teams do from day to day?

Dallas is pretty nuts.
Not just the pro teams...even the semi games are huge nightmare traffic jams, high school football nights are crammed, etc.

The atmosphere at a Portland Timbers games is pretty amazing and better than most other cities.
Comparable to a College Football game in the south...

I would agree that Columbus is a pretty crazy sports town. The funny thing is the sports they love aren't typical of American sports towns. Hockey, Soccer, Ohio State Football, minor league baseball, and crab racing. Those people are weird, but they sure do love those teams.

I couldn't call Cincinnati a sports town, but Opening Day for the Reds is probably the biggest celebration of the year. It's truly one of a kind.

Indianapolis and Denver are the two towns that come to mind as most sports crazy.
