Hi all,

I was wondering what is the best (and friendliest) city to live in for someone who is not a native of the state. I am a canadian from Montreal, french is my first language but I speak english pretty well and it can only get better and I don't think I have a big accent like most Quebecers do. I love the US and its history and am a big Packers and Favre fan and watch american shows and don't like Hokcey and I don't say eh. : )

I have a desire to blend in and be implicated like normal people. However the move is not for now but maybe in 3-5 years. I am white, 24, single. I always loved the pleasant prairie area because it is between Chicago and Milwaukee. However, is it a proper place because I read that people in the Kenosha area don't like newcomers and keep to themselves? If someone tells me not to go there, I would like to have a suggestion. And I'm not interested in Madison, its a beautiful college town but not in my choices. Also I don't like a city that is too big or really too small, a normal suburb (12-50 000).

As far as the work is concerned, I work in IT (non-programmer) for the moment so I could be eligible for the nafta visa but I don't want to go in these details because I am studying in businesss administration for the moment and like I said I am not moving soon.

I know its a comedy and I know it take place in the 70s culture and it contains a lot of stereotypes but is the neighbour relations depicted in That 70s show accurate? Neighbours talk to each other etc.

Sorry for the bunch of questions, I never ask simple things : ) Sorry for everybody about Favre, I thought he would play another year and wanted to go see him play at Lambeau.
