    Work in tech in a "safe" state? Donate to candidates who can flip the senate. The courts will be stacked 6-3 in favor of republicans either way. But we can actually do something about that if the senate flips.

    Listen to . The President is many awful things, but when people use diagnoses & treatments such as ADHD as insults, they aren’t insulting 45 as much as they hurt the millions living with these conditions - many of whom you likely know, but may not be aware of. ⬇️

    Donald Trump has earned the scathing critiques of his rhetoric, policies, corrupt Administration & disgraceful debate performance. However, given the many descriptors at your disposal, I appeal to analysts not to say things like, he is on drugs, forgot his meds, clearly has ADHD.

    Inhave long maintained that solution files are bad for tools, but should be explored as the _solution_ to data exchange woes. JSON and XML are boring. We need more VB syntax with GUIDs to communicate between services. Who’s with me?

    The only argument for leaving solution files is technical debt, but I do believe we need to tackle this. A modern IDE shouldn’t be crippled in day to day operations by a file format that bad.

    When trying to learn a new system I love to play the "who calls this" game. Setting a break point somewhere and navigating up the call stack frames to get a deeper understanding of how things are put together.

    If we really want to do something about this, we need to push our legislators to do something. They have the power to change this system. Nobody else does. If we just let them continue to be lazy, ineffective figureheads against The Other Side, nothing will change.

    This trump tax stuff is good for a few "socialist for the rich memes" but that's about it. None of his supports will care. People on the fence are already jaded about rich people and politicians playing by different rules. Plus it's all legal anyways.

    Take home message from today: Imagine a world where white-collar crime, bank fraud, accounting fraud, and tax fraud were properly investigated & prosecuted. That’s a world where “President Trump” is an impossibility.

    This makes me happy because it shows the power that the legislature can have if they actually use it. Merely pushing an issue as legislators can cause other branches of our government to take action. Just wish they did this more often :(
