Also another reminder that I am not looking at replies or DMs or really spending any time on this website at all. If you actually want to contact me, email me (in bio).

We will be watching closely to see if the USPS follows through on this, but the July 10 stand-up talk changed an awful lot around the post office. We'll see what happens after this one.

Some good news: USPS will be telling its employees tomorrow to undo nearly all of DeJoy's most controversial policies that slowed down mail and de-prioritized election mail.

We're all too familiar with what people say and do after mass shootings happen. But the "going postal" shootings of the 80s/90s were different. Today is Part I of a series about what it's like to work at the United States Postal Service.

Everyone knew fare evasion was overblown at the time (see: ) but disingenuous and politically motivated stooges pretended otherwise because it served their purposes. I have no patience for anyone who participated in this fraud.

The supposed logistics genius who took over the USPS didn't bother to run the numbers on what his big logistics changes would do to USPS service. Spoiler: it did bad things.

I set out to talk to postal workers about what it's like to work in wildfire-ravaged areas. I did that, but I also found out so much more about how postal workers are critical to the country's disaster response. It's all in this week's The Mail.

I did not log onto Twitter yesterday but we sent out the latest edition of The Mail about the 1970 postal worker strike, an event that I was astounded I had never heard of before. It's a genuinely remarkable moment in modern American history.

Louis DeJoy said he only made one big change to the post office and he doesn't understand how anyone could be mad at him for it. Who doesn't want trucks to run on time? I looked into why his common sense plan screwed up the mail so badly.

Apologies if you have tried to read my Algorithm Issue article on TDMs only to find the link is broken. We've been having...problems...with links over the last few days. This one should work:
