Online activism and virtual Prides

This session provided skills-based training on graphic design for trans activists and was designed to share basic tools to develop online campaigns; to connect trans activists from Europe and Central Asia; and to raise visibility of local campaigns in the region. 

22 participants attended from Armenia, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, North Ireland, Poland, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, Ukraine.

Financial Stability in Times of Crisis

This session was designed to increase awareness of the financial crises experienced by trans-led group within the context of COVID-19 and to raise the capacity of activists to face the crisis.

Organisational re-programming during COVID-19

The session was designed to increase awareness of the financial crises experienced by trans-led group within the context of COVID-19 and to raise the capacity of activists to face the crisis.

UN Advocacy and UN Mechanisms
10 August 2020

This invitation-only workshop was co-organised with ILGA-World and was designed to increase activists’ understanding of UN mechanisms and advocacy opportunities and how to engage in online advocacy. 

17 participants attended from Germany, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Sweden, Switzerland, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.

Digital Security during COVID-19 (for English speakers)

The workshop was co-organised with Access Now to provide concrete training and support on digital security and privacy protection for trans activists.

Coping from the Margins
10 September 2020

This workshop was aimed at to centering the experiences of marginalised trans communities and strategising on how we can collectively tackle the unique challenges facing trans people in the time of the COVID-19 pandemic. Donors from foundations that support trans organisations joined the training and provided input and recommendations. It was a space for two-way dialogue about sustainability and survival during the COVID-19 crisis.

32 participants attended from Armenia, Belgium, Croatia, Denmark, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Malta, the Netherlands, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Spain, Ukraine.
