Avengers: Endgame could have looked a lot different, as Elizabeth Olsen's Scarlet Witch almost survived the Infinity Snap.
In last year's apocalyptic Avengers: Infinity War, the super-sorceress fell victim to Thanos' finger snap, which meant she spent most of this year's Endgame out of the action alongside the likes of Spider-Man, Doctor Strange and Black Panther.

In conversation with CinemaBlend, screenwriters Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely discussed an early draft of Endgame that featured Wanda Maximoff.
"We had a moment where [Scarlet Witch] looked at [Vision's] body in a drawer, and it was mainly just maudlin," Markus explained. "It was also frankly from a draft where she hadn't been blipped. Because we had a draft where she survived and was a character in Endgame.
"The problem was she'd gotten so much mileage and story in the first movie that she didn't really have anything that equalled that in the second. So it was a step down."
Although the Avengers were ultimately successful in Endgame's huge time heist, we bet the assistance of Scarlet Witch could have made it a whole lot easier.
But what fun would that be?
Avengers: Endgame is out now on DVD, Blu-ray, 3D, 4K and digital download.
