The actor-comedian wrote on Instagram that he really didn’t want “to be on this earth anymore”. Even as the post caused widespread stir, with many of his fans and friends being concerned about his well-being, Pete deleted the social media account.
Meanwhile, Ariana tweeted (she later deleted it), saying, “I’m downstairs and I’m not going anywhere if you need anyone or anything. I know you have everyone you need and that’s not me, but I’m here too.”
Earlier, Pete had voiced his support and appreciation for Kanye West for talking publicly about mental health. It all began when Kanye took on Drake earlier this week, barely hours before Ariana was to drop her new song, which is titled ‘Imagine’. The singer then jokingly asked the “grown men” to stop fighting on Twitter.
Kanye lashed out at Ariana, saying that his mental health was affected by her post. Though Ariana later apologised for her tweet, Pete took to Instagram, to laud Kanye for speaking up about his mental health.
