Abhishek Kapoor's directorial 'Kedarnath' marked the Bollywood debut of Saif Ali Khan's daughter Sara Ali Khan. This romance-drama is set against the backdrop of the disastrous 2013 Uttarakhand flood. The film is being well received by the audience and is doing really good business at the box-office. According to the latest reports on boxofficeindia.com, it collected the 2.25-2.50 crore nett range on its second Friday.

The business of 'Kedarnath' till date is as follows: Week One - 42,00,00,000; second Friday - 2,50,00,000 approx, total- 44,50,00,000 approx. The results of 'Kedarnath' in week one are better than most would have expected.
The plot of the film revolves around a story of a Hindu girl (Sara Ali Khan) and Muslim guy (Sushant Singh Rajput). Looking at the response which Sara got after the film got released we can say that she had a wonderful start to her Bollywood career. Produced by Ronnie Screwvala, the film released on 7th December.
