An magnitude 3.5 earthquake struck early Saturday morning about 12 miles south of Clear Lake.

The US Geological Survey reported that the quake occurred at 12:37 a.m., and that the epicenter was 26 miles north of Santa Rosa.

The USGS also reported that the people who felt the quake were mostly confined to the Clear Lake region.
