Browse through books for history lovers, travelers, gardeners, cooks and kids. You’ll find fiction, non-fiction, first editions, old tomes, fine bindings, first editions and some rare, special & signed volumes. Looking for movies or music? We carry DVDs, VHS tapes, CDs, cassettes, vinyl, and even a few old victrola records. There’s also artwork to decorate your library walls.
Twice a month, our dedicated volunteers* select a theme and create a special display of books. Themes can range from seasonal events to world regions, historic events, or whatever strikes their fancy.
There are 85 categories of books – plus CDs, DVDs, Videos, LPs and Tapes. These books are 100% donated, 85% hardback and average prices range from $3-$7 per book. All Book Shop proceeds go towards supporting the Farm’s educational programs.
The Farm’s book shop is open Wednesday through Saturday from Noon to 7 p.m. February 1 through December 16 for the 2017 season.
Cash, checks, and credit cards are accepted.
For book shop updates: If you are on our Claude Moore Farm News email list, we will send you a notice. The sale themes are also always listed on our website. We are listed on www.booksalefinder.com.
*We are always looking for volunteers to help sort, price and clean the bookstore Wed- Sat from noon to 7 pm. Contact volunteers@1771.org if you’d like to help!
