#7 (third story))
GS: The Comet (last chronological appearance in MIGHTY CRUSADERS #2 (second
story)), the Fly (next chronological appearance in MIGHTY CRUSADERS #3 (second
story))
Comments: Since the Comet, as shown in MIGHTY CRUSADERS #2, is in reality an
Earthman, the statement in this story that he has an “Altroxian brain-structure”
is obviously false.
Even though the Comet says he is leaving to wed an Altroxian girl, he obviously
does not do so, since he is back in the next issue.
The second story in MIGHTY CRUSADERS #2 and another story in THE COMET #1
explain how the Comet of the 1940s was transformed into the Comet of the 1960's
and beyond.

Girl back to his homeworld as his queen.

Cameo appearance: Turan (in flashback)
Villain: The Metal Master (last appearance in ADVENTURES OF THE FLY #23; dies in
this story), the Metal Witch (first and only appearance; probably dies in this
story)
Comment: The statement that the Metal Master was killed by Fly Girl shortly
after her origin is untrue, as he appeared several more times with the Anti-Fly
League. Obviously, his death occurred after his last appearance, in issue #23.
His appearance is altered in this story from a metallic cubist being to a
standard humanoid.

destruction of her mate, Fly-Man passes on his size-changing powers to her to
enable her to evade such a fate and to destroy their enemy.
