Magic Leap's Lead Game Designer will replace the out going Stephen Knightly as Chairperson of the NZGDA.
Everett was named as the new chairperson at last weeks NZGDA Annual General Meeting.
James will be supported by Secretary, Joe Chang, with outgoing Chairperson, Stephen Knightly, elected as one of seven board members.
In total 275 votes were cast in this years election, via a new online election system.
