Randy Mastro, of the firm Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, filed an Open Public Records Act request Monday to ferret out documents related to the scandal, records show.

Specifically, Mastro is seeking the following:

  • Documents created from Aug. 1, 2013 to the present related to the scandal.
  • Any and all documents, including correspondence, created from Jan. 1, 2013 to the present regarding the bridge access lanes from Fort Lee, and all correspondence with the Port Authority relating to those lanes.
  • Documents related to endorsements of Christie’s reelection bid, and records of meetings and conversations with members of Christie’s reelection team.
  • Any documents provided to the media about the lane closures.

Mastro has also sent a private request to Hoboken Mayor Dawn Zimmer — who accused members of the Christie Administration of withholding money slated for Superstorm Sandy aid because she did not fast-track a particular real estate development project — for her documents related to that accusation.

Zimmer declined to provide those documents. Mastro separately filed an OPRA request for the journal and similar documents from Hoboken officials, according to a report in The Star-Ledger.
