The Department of Criminal Justice Information Services (DCJIS) is the state's CJIS Systems Agency (CSA) and by FBI/National Crime Information Center (NCIC) policy is the responsible state authority for the quality control of all data entered into NCIC systems, managing policy compliance for all CJIS/NCIC users and providing training and testing in the use of NCIC systems. Per FBI policy, the agency also provides for the state's CJIS Systems Officer (CSO) and the CJIS Information Security Officer (ISO). The agency also participates in the National Law Enforcement Telecommunications System (NLETS), the FBI's Interstate Identification Index (III) program and the Integrated Automated Identification Systems (IAFIS).
