It's a show that can be difficult to watch but impossible to forget.
American Crime wasn't fun, and it wasn't perfect, either, but it was richly rewarding all the same. I won't easily forget it, and I don't want to, either.
American Crime is easily the best, smartest drama on broadcast TV this season.
One of the best shows on television today, this drama isn't afraid to take on difficult subjects and seriously challenge closed-minded thinking about sexual assault.
In its first episode, season two of American Crime maintains its commitment to shedding light on the subtle and difficult issues of race, class, and sex in modern society, but it remains to be seen if it will continue these successes.
American Crime excels even when -- especially when -- it's dark and hard to watch.
