The 7d Mark II Saga is finally over!!

I finally figured out the best thing to do is sell all my Canon gear and go back to Nikon. In order to keep the loaner http://www.dpreview.com/forums/thread/3975543 Canon told me I had to sign a NDA and not post anywhere online including this very forum or on my social media. There were other stipulations like I could never sue them, ever, and there no was expiration date on the contract. This was completely unacceptable to me just to keep a camera that worked almost as good as it was supposed to. `When I told the Customer Relations guy that I would not be signing it he got very agitated with me and started attacking me on the phone about why I wouldn't sign it. I must have rattled Canon a bit on this one as I have shown that not all 7dm2 produce the same IQ with the same lens in controlled testing especially since they do not know how to fix the issue.

For those that have actually been helpful and have shown support, I thank you and wish you all the best with your Canon gear and that future releases continue to improve. There are mostly great people in this forum and I wish you the best!

For those that bash anyone that thinks they have a soft 7dm2 or one that performs poorly, shame on you for badgering people that have issues. Take your atmospherics and swamp gas and shove it. I hope you really need that small stipend that Canon pays you to be internet moles for their corporation.  I am sure that some of the issues have been user related for sure, however I see so many cases that are similar to mine and people get run out of this forum thinking it is them.  I have been so discouraged the last few months that I have only gone out about half as much as years past this time of year.
