Looks like a shadow to me maybe something was moved during the show and cast a shadow for those images only. are all your 7D images like this? If not then I would say its a shadow where it came ...

sounds like someone dropped the body with a lens on and bent the mount ever so slightly hence it being a tight twist. it should feel just like your last canon as all mounts take the same amount of ...

There is a lot more to it than high ISO's and fast glass :) your going to need a good editing platform like Photoshop and some other applications like LRTimelapse do some reading and some research ...

if you do the repair yourself its under $20 bucks for the top plate look on ebay for the part. If you send to canon about $400-500 for top LCD replacement :) http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R4 ...

Time to go see the Dr at Canon looks like your sensor read out is shot or the sensor itself

You are correct, just pull off the rubber gasket in the rear of let's say a 17-55mm f2.8 and It will work just fine on FF body with no mirror slap on the lens :) Not many people know this or try ...

OK let's be real here :) Canon has had this issue on all bodies that I have shot with except 1DMKIV, 1DX, 5D3 and even those will show the slight OOF images sometimes not as bad as the lower end ...
