I love Sam Rockwell, and although I'm not what you call an Anna Kendrick Fan, I thought she was really good in this movie. Tim Roth was good too, even though he had more of a minor role.
The easy chemistry between Anna Kendrick and Sam Rockwell was great, made the scenes really believable and I never thought it got 'sappy' or slow. The writing is witty and both the leads delivered their lines pretty dang flawlessly.
In my opinion, it is a PERFECT first date movie. It contains a pretty perfect blend of action, a nice love story as well as a hefty dose of humor that one can easily get engrossed in, and the plot is not bad for what anyone would consider 'this type' of movie as it moves right along with seldom a noticeable pause.
Definitely a must-watch if you are looking for a feel-good movie with a break from extravagant CGI or over-the-top special effects.
