Sir Karl Jenkins
BMus 1966
Sir Karl is a composer and musician, famed for such contemporary classics as Adiemus, The Armed Man: A Mass for Peace and Palladio. His recorded output, which encompasses scores for Hollywood films, documentaries and advertising, has resulted in countless accolades, including 17 gold and platinum disc awards. He received an Honorary Fellowship from the University in 2005.
James Righton

James is the co-vocalist and keyboardist for the London-based new rave band Klaxons. The band has collected a number of industry awards – in the UK and abroad – since their debut album was released in 2007, including the Mercury Prize for Best Album and NME Awards for Best New Band.

Nick is a documentary filmmaker whose credits include Kurt & Courtney; Aileen: Life and Death of a Serial Killer; and Battle for Haditha. He won a number of awards for his films, including the Sundance first prize, British Academy Award, Dupont Peabody Award, Grierson Award, Hague Peace Prize, Amnesty International DOEN award.

Siân is a BAFTA TV Award-winning actress whose credits include Dune; I, Claudius; How Green Was My Valley; Smiley's People and Clash of the Titans.
She has also appeared in many National Theatre and Royal Shakespeare Company productions. She received an Honorary Fellowship from the University in 1984.

Robert also created, wrote and appeared in the ITV1 comedy drama "Edge of Heaven".
He has also written several episodes of the BAFTA-winning SKY One comedy drama "Stella" and the BBC ONE sitcom "Green Green Grass".
