Warning | Your final version must be uploaded and republished at least 10 days before the release date you set, with the last day for upload starting at midnight, U.S. Eastern time. For example, if you were releasing a book on September 20, you would need to upload and republish it before 11:59 PM Eastern time on September 9 (4:59 AM UTC the following day). If a pre-order book doesn't meet the content guidelines, you won't be able to re-publish the same book. Instead you must submit it with content that meets our guidelines as a new ASIN. |
Note | If you're creating an illustrated kids' book, they're typically in a fixed-layout format. Children’s books created using Kindle Kids’ Book Creator will work on all Fire tablets, Fire phone, Kindle for iPad, Kindle for iPhone, and Kindle Android apps. When you upload a final fixed-layout file, you may notice new content on your product detail page that explains this to customers. This is expected. |
Tip | Consider waiting to upload a nearly-finished version of your manuscript in order to make your book details as clear as possible for prospective customers. |
