If indisputable knowledge of a subject were a requirement to answer questions on DPR forums, the forums would die overnight.

You just assumed you know my motivation for posting, and made your reply into a personal attack. My motivation was just what I said it was: I'd like to see such a camera produced and I thought others might too. If you don't, then just say so, instead of getting hostile and making it about my character or business sense.

How about I just disagree with your assessment and not waste any more time replying to your hostile post?

If someone posts a genuine, well thought out question, they'll receive a genuine, we'll thought out reply. Conversely, if someone posts a trolling post, they're getting it back. If someone posts an elitist post which clearly lacks any basis in reality, they apparently get a "jerky" reply.

I noticed in a reply to someone else, you used Leica as an example. Your idea was to mimic a niche, overwhelmingly expensive camera, at times sold to people with more money than skill, but do it for about 1/8 the cost? Even Leica users wonder why Leica creates cameras like that!

Then you referred to Fuji, another niche brand with expensive equipment.

Are you noticing those 2 things go together? Niche, and expensive. You want to do SUPER niche, and ULTRA cheap, and kind of wonder why it hasn't been done before?? Really?

Again, if you think this is an economically viable idea, write up a business plan and CAPITALIZE on it! Go get rich man! Prove me wrong!
