There has been some speculation, due to a photo shared by actress Connie Nielsen on social media last year, that renowned boxer Ann Wolfe (who has held multiple championships in four different weight classes simultaneously) would be appearing in the DC blockbuster Wonder Woman as Artemis, and this has now been confirmed by director Patty Jenkins. Check out the director’s tweet below…

The legend @AnnWolfeBoxing is our Artemis!! Who else should be one of the greatest warrior Amazons, but the best female boxer in history. https://t.co/RfQAF2YnxY

‘Fargo’ Teaser: Ewan McGregor Gives His Stamp of Approval to His Other Season 3 Identity

13 March 2017 1:45 PM, PDT | Indiewire Television | See recent Indiewire Television news »

Fargo” is bringing double the Ewan McGregor trouble this season.

While we’ve had the privilege of meeting McGregor as the long-haired, mustachioed Ray Stussy already, on Monday we met his older brother Emmit Stussy. (The actor is far more recognizable here without the facial hair.)

We can’t tell you much about the plot of the new season of “Fargo,” other than it is set in 2010 and has a killer (possibly literally) cast that includes Mary Elizabeth Winstead, “The Leftovers” star Carrie Coon, Jim Gaffigan, David Thewlis, Michael Stuhlbarg, Scoot McNair, Shea Whigham, Karan Soni, Fred Melamed and Hamish Linklater.

This season will no doubt include some bloody good times, crime and maybe another catchphrase. Already, we’re very pleased by the character’s colorful names, such as Winstead’s Nikki Swango and Coon’s Sherrif Gloria Burgle. »

New trailer & poster for ‘Wonder Woman’

13 March 2017 4:01 AM, PDT | Blogomatic3000 | See recent Blogomatic3000 news »

Directed by Patty Jenkins (Monster, AMC’s The Killing) and starring Gal Gadot (Fast & Furious) in the titular role, Wonder Woman made her big screen debut in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, but this new film will mark her first time the character has headlined a solo feature – though you’d be hard-pressed to top Lynda Carter’s formidable run as the character on TV.

Wonder Woman also stars Chris Pine (Star Trek) as Captain Steve Trevor, Robin Wright (The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, House of Cards), Danny Huston (Clash of the Titans, X-Men Origins: Wolverine), David Thewlis (Harry Potter), Ewen Bremner (Snowpiercer), Saïd Taghmaoui (American Hustle), Elena Anaya (The Skin I Live In) and Lucy Davis (Shaun of the Dead).

‘Wonder Woman’: Gal Gadot Reveals Stunning New Poster (Photo)

10 March 2017 11:34 AM, PST | Variety - Film News | See recent Variety - Film News news »

Wonder Woman” has a new poster courtesy of star Gal Gadot.

The star took to Twitter on Friday and tweeted “Believe in Wonder. Here it is, the new poster for #WonderWoman!” The poster shows the hero kneeling on a beach — possibly Themyscira, the island home of the Amazon princess. Sun soaks the landscape as she crouches with sword and shield in hand.

The film will be the third film in DC’s growing cinematic universe after “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” and “Suicide Squad” last year. It will be the second time Gadot will suit up as Wonder Woman after appearing in “BvS.”

For anyone concerned that the film will be as dark as the previous DC films, a producer for all of them has assured that isn’t the case.

‘Fargo’ Season 3 Teaser Offers First Look at Ewan McGregor, Mary Elizabeth Winstead

6 March 2017 6:23 PM, PST | Variety - TV News | See recent Variety - TV News news »

Ewan McGregor adds pounds and sheds his handsome exterior (and some hair) as Ray Stussy in the first look at Season 3 of “Fargo.” A 30-second teaser, released online on Monday, offers a glimpse at the cast and a just a spoonful of drama as Carrie Coon’s Sheriff Gloria Burgle spooks McGregor and Mary Elizabeth Winstead into high-tailing it out of a simple country diner.

The teaser’s sole line, “Don’t forget your pie,” is uttered by a uniformed Coon to her son as a balding, pudgy, greasy McGregor and a smokey-eyed, leather and fur clad Winstead give each other pointed looks. They exit the linoleum-heavy diner to a snowy Fargo before McGregor’s Stussy opens the door to a slick vintage coupe for Winstead’s Nikki Swango.

Not much is known about the plot of the next season of Noah Hawley’s anthology series, and the trailer only teases a conflict between Stussy, Swango »
