"I'm open to [dating], but I'm such a hermit," the Hello, My Name Is Doris star, 69, tells PEOPLE in this week's issue. "Unless they came to the door selling Bibles ..."
After divorcing her second husband, producer Alan Greisman, in 1993, Field never remarried – but hasn't written off future romance.

A mother of three sons and hands-on "Grammy" to five grandkids, Field's dance card is filled with work enmeshed with her family.
"I am totally fulfilled," she says. "That doesn't mean I would [rule] anything out, but I wouldn't dress up and go roaming the streets looking for it."
For their part, Field's kids have shown, well, no interest in setting her up.
"As a matter of fact, my sons were always the ones standing at the door saying, "She's not here!" she quips.
